You Bet/Red Dog Mining District

Advanced Geologic is presenting of five patented placer mining claims totalling about 395 acres for sale in the You Bet/Red Dog Mining District in Nevada County, CA. The properties are private lands and may have vested mining rights. Each has significant Tertiary gravel deposits that were extensively hydraulically mined from mid 1800s to mid 1900s, but much of the auriferous deposits are remnant, and more particularly, so are the bases of these deposits. The bases were often called the "blue lead" and were the richest parts of the system.

Historical and geological descriptions are generally the same for all the properties. Each have significant attributes that warrant their profitability for gold mining. There is no specific geolgical report available for each property; however, historcal records of the mining activities are well documented and support the remnant gold potential.
