Exploration permits have been obtained for three claims from the National Forest Service to excavated <1,000 cubic yards. On September 13 and 14, 2008, five test pits were advanced to bedrock on Golden Wolf #2 and #3 and material stockpiled for processing. Results from these preliminary tests indicate the fluvial deposits contain ample fine to coarse-grained gold.
