Our Mazourka Placer #1 & #2 and Mazourka Placer #5 & #6 are located in Inyo County in Southeastern California. These claims are located in the Kearsarge district. The Rex Montis mine was the potential gold source for the area and yielded about 12,333 ounces of gold and silver from about 1875-1883. The deposits in this district consist of narrow quartz veins in quartz monzonite that contains native gold, sulfides and reportedly native silver.
